Maruman Septcouleur Softcover Notebooks are all charm and soft edges on the outside—but they’re all business inside, with highly refined writing paper that works perfectly with fountain pens. The pale grey gridlines, set in a fine 3 mm pattern, help to align your writing and offer a starting point for journal layouts and diagrams.Each Septcouleur Softcover includes a generous 100 sheets (200 pp.) of Maruman writing paper, the same stock used in the popular Maruman Mnemosyne series. It’s a silky-smooth paper that’s bleedproof even with broad, inky pens and metal dip pens, which can be challenging for lesser paper.
The croquis ring binding used for this notebook is one of our very favorite bookbinding styles. The cover is spun into the double wire ring binding along with the notebook pages, so the corners and spine of your pages are protected. The edges of the cover are longer than the paper, and the cover itself has a soft and pliable texture, so over time, the Septcouleur Softcover bends around its interior pages like a well-worn wallet.
100 sheets (200 pages). Available in A6 (4.1″ x 5.8″) and A5 (5.8″ x 8.3″) sizes. Made in Japan.
