Gamblin Artist’s Oil Colors, Cadmium Chartreuse

Description

Preferred by serious oil painters. Gamblin Artist’s Oil Colors are formulated with pure pigments and natural linseed oil, then milled and packaged by a small, passionate team in Portland, Oregon. In the 1970s, Robert Gamblin was just one painter who felt a “strong relationship to raw materials” and started mixing his own oil colors in five-gallon buckets. Robert opened Gamblin Artist Colors in 1980, and with an emphasis on permanence and predictable working characteristics, Gamblin became the trusted standard across the United States.

Gamblin Artist’s Oil Colors are pigment-dense, free of filler, with a stiff but easily workable consistency and a wide range of key colors for the contemporary studio. In combination with Gamblin’s easy-to-use painting mediums, like Galkyd, and their safer studio solvent Gamsol, these colors are a complete system for modern painters to achieve any hue, value, texture, and level of transparency.

Made in the United States.
